AboutMaison Pierre Sparr
Maison Pierre Sparr traces its Alsace story to Jean Sparr, born in 1680, with vineyards expanded under François-Pierre Sparr in 1785. In 1861 Charles Sparr added wine trading and ageing to the family’s vineyard work. His son Pierre took over at twenty and promoted bottling the wines at the estate.
After Sigolsheim and its vineyards were destroyed in 1945, Pierre rebuilt the domaine. Later generations, including René and Charles, expanded the vineyards and the business across Europe.
