Maison Leroy

François Leroy founded Maison Leroy at Auxey-Duresses in 1868, formalizing a Burgundy wine business he had already been developing for nearly two decades. Joseph and Henri Leroy continued the family business before Lalou Bize-Leroy joined in 1955 and became president in 1971. Her approach placed greater emphasis on selection and longer ageing.

The house selects Burgundy wines to mature and bottle under the Maison Leroy name. Annual tastings guide the selection and ageing of those wines.
