AboutMaison Brillet
Maison Brillet traces its history to Guy Brillet and the vineyards of Graves-Saint-Amant on the Charente in 1656. Vivien Brillet established the trading house, distillery and cellars in 1850, with later generations developing Cognac and Pineau des Charentes. The house became part of Rémy Cointreau in 2020.
Jean-Louis Brillet created Belle de Brillet in 1985, naming the pear-and-Cognac liqueur for his wife, Isabelle. The liqueur combines Cognac, spirit distilled from ripe Williams pears grown in Anjou, and sugar made with fresh vanilla.
Maison Brillet Belle de Brillet Pear & Cognac Liqueur 700 mL
Williams pear leads with clear, ripe fruit and a delicate floral lift, while Cognac adds warmth, depth and a gently structured centre. Pear eaux-de-vie, Cognac, water and vanilla sugar made with fresh Madagascar vanilla create a natural, full-bodied liqueur without added flavouring or caramel. The palate is sweet but balanced, combining juicy pear with light baking spice, vanilla and restrained oak. A smooth, aromatic finish leaves fresh pear and warm Cognac behind. Serve over ice, as a digestif or in a sparkling aperitif.
