Luke Lambert

Luke Lambert runs a family winery in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, working with fruit from Denton View Hill near Yarra Glen. The vineyard lies in the northern Yarra on granite and granitic sand.

The grapes are hand-picked; fermentation uses wild yeasts, and the wines are bottled without fining or filtration. Large French and Slavonian oak casks are used for maturation. Lambert bought a steep site at Glenburn in 2017 and planted five acres of Nebbiolo in 2019 and 2020, naming the vineyard Sparkletown.
