AboutLillet

Paul and Raymond Lillet founded their wine-and-spirits house in Podensac, south of Bordeaux, in 1872. The house’s wine aperitif followed in 1887.

Lillet is still made in the historic Podensac cellars, where a small specialist team maintains the house recipe. Today, the house belongs to Pernod Ricard. Its wine aperitifs combine French wines with fruit infusions.

Lillet Rosé Wine Aperitif

French Fortified
$29.99
Red fruit, orange blossom and grapefruit shape the profile. Rosy and brilliant in colour, the wine aperitif is fresh, lively and fruity, with a balanced structure, light acidity and a long aromatic finish. Selected white wines are combined with natural infusions of citrus, quinine and red fruit. The blend is not aged in oak and contains 17 percent alcohol.

Lillet Blanc NV

French Fortified
$34.99
Candied orange, honey and exotic fruit rise over pine resin, lemon, jasmine and fresh mint. The palate is full and rounded at first, then turns lively as citrus and a measured herbal bitterness bring definition. A wine-based aperitif with freshness rather than overt weight, it carries orange and honey through a long finish, leaving a clean, gently bitter edge.
