At Latvijas Balzams in Riga, Latvia, elit vodka is blended with artesian well water, filtered and bottled. Created in 2003, elit begins with single-source grain that is slowly fermented and distilled three times.
The vodka passes through quartz sand and birch charcoal before being chilled to −18 °C and slowly filtered again. It then rests before being bottled by hand.

Fresh grain and white pepper give the nose quiet definition, followed by citrus zest and a clean mineral note. Freeze filtration creates a polished, velvety texture while preserving enough grain character to keep the palate from feeling neutral. Creamy vanilla and soft almond emerge through the middle, balanced by restrained sweetness and a crisp line of citrus. The finish is long, smooth and exceptionally clean, with grain, mineral freshness and a final touch of pepper lingering behind.
