AboutChampagne Lancelot-Pienne
Champagne Lancelot-Pienne follows a family line spanning five generations of vineyard work around Cramant. Jean-Baptiste Lancelot served as head grower at Mumm in Cramant, while his son Jean began bottling Champagne under the family name in the years following 1945. The present name took shape in 1967, when Albert Lancelot married Brigitte Pienne and their vineyard holdings were joined.
Their son Gilles, an oenology graduate, joined in 1995 and took charge of the estate ten years later. Today the estate works 8.5 hectares divided among more than 60 parcels, stretching from Grand Cru Cramant, Chouilly and Avize to neighbouring villages across the slopes.
Champagne Lancelot-Pienne NV Accord Majeur Extra Brut 1.5L (Magnum)
French Sparkling
Ripe fruit and gentle spice lead, framed by a golden colour and sustained, delicate bubbles. The palate is full and balanced, with a creamy, generous core sharpened by freshness and tension. Spicy roasted notes emerge through the resonant finish, while four years of cellar ageing adds depth and harmony.
