Lafazanis

Clear yellow colour accompanies lemon and other citrus aromas. Lively acidity defines this dry white, made from Roditis and Savatiano under the Peloponnese PGI. Alcohol is 11.5 percent, and the suggested serving temperature is 8 to 10 degrees Celsius. Fish starters and light pasta dishes are recommended pairings. The family winery is based in Ancient Kleones near Nemea.

Ripe peach and apricot appear with preserved lemon and cut grass. The palate is broad. Balance and a persistent finish are also present. Made entirely from Malagouzia, the wine comes from semi-mountain vineyards in Corinthia at 400 to 500 metres. Controlled fermentation takes place at 14 to 16 degrees Celsius. Its colour is pale straw with green highlights, and the profile combines fruit and floral character. Alcohol is 12 percent.
