Azienda Agricola La Ginestra

Azienda Agricola La Ginestra began in 1978 when a group of young people took on uncultivated land in the hills of San Casciano in Val di Pesa. Organic farming has been part of its work since 1989. Vines occupy roughly seven hectares alongside grains, legumes, olive trees, livestock and beehives.

A more focused wine project began in 2012, centred on Sangiovese and other traditional Tuscan varieties. Fermentations begin spontaneously, with minimal handling in the cellar and vessels chosen for the wine, from steel and old wood to stoneware amphora. The range includes Chianti, skin-contact whites and pét-nat sparkling wines.
