AboutChâteau La Commanderie (Saint-Émilion)
In Saint-Émilion, Château La Commanderie occupies a compact site on the village’s gravel plateau and belongs to Vignobles Magali & Thibaut Decoster. The property entered Saint-Émilion’s Grand Cru Classé ranks in 2012. Its roughly four hectares combine calcareous gravel, iron-rich sand and clay, with Merlot accounting for three quarters of the vines and Cabernet Franc the balance.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in concrete vats. Ageing is divided equally between tanks and new barrels.

French Red
Ripe blackberry, cassis and red berries lead the aroma, joined by spice and a gentle smoky note. Fresh acidity gives the palate lift and keeps the dark fruit clearly defined. Black and red fruit unfold in measured layers, with the spice adding depth through the middle. The finish is persistent and balanced, carrying cassis, red berries and a restrained smoky echo.
