The palate moves from ripe plum and red cherry into citrus, toffee, toasted oak and dark chocolate, with sherry depth balanced by bourbon-cask freshness. Smoke remains generous but controlled. The finish is mouth-coating and persistent, carrying caramel, cinnamon, clove, brown sugar and lingering fruit sweetness.

Earthy peat and wood spice lead the aroma, sharpened by cracked pepper and a saline edge. The palate is lively and smoky, with dried red fruit bringing measured sweetness to the firmer peat. Oak and spice remain clearly defined rather than heavy. The finish is medium-long and warming, carrying smoke, mild bitterness, salt and a late return of fruit.
