AboutKendall-Jackson
Kendall-Jackson began with Jess Jackson’s purchase of an eighty-acre pear and walnut orchard in Lake County in 1974, which he replanted to Chardonnay. The family introduced the Kendall-Jackson label with the 1982 Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay. Its vineyards have since expanded across California’s cool coastal regions.
French oak has long been important in the cellar. The winery’s environmental work includes water conservation, renewable energy and regenerative farming.
