AboutKamara

Kamara is the Kioutsoukis family’s estate near Thessaloniki, where the family planted eleven hectares of vines after exchanging city life for the countryside. Founder Dimitrios Kioutsoukis traces his interest in wine to his grandfather, later adding formal oenology study to a background in chemical engineering. Stavroula looks after the vineyards, working alongside her brothers Athanasios and Apostolos.

Greek varieties such as Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Roditis and Xinomavro anchor the vineyard. Permaculture principles guide the farming, while the wines ferment with indigenous yeasts and receive little or no filtration.
