Jean-Philippe Fichet is a third-generation winegrower in Meursault. At twenty, Fichet produced his first vintage in 1981 from vines held under a sharecropping lease. When he lost four hectares of leased vines in 1991, he rebuilt his holdings with new parcels in Meursault and Auxey-Duresses. In 2001, he moved the domaine into a former coaching inn.
The vineyards are cultivated organically, and the domaine has made its own compost since 2006. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, then fermented parcel by parcel in French oak. The wines spend about eleven months in barrel followed by roughly six months in tank.

Pear and citrus open with acacia, lilac and rose petal, followed by a quiet note of fennel. The palate is generous yet energetic, with a finely textured centre and a clear, punchy line of freshness. Floral detail remains lifted as the fruit gains depth. The finish is precise and youthful, carrying citrus, pear and gentle savoury nuance with composed austerity and notable length.

Greengage leads a restrained profile with fresh citrus and a lightly savoury edge. The palate is precise and intense, its clean fruit carried by a focused, linear texture. Gentle lees detail and restrained oak bring depth without overt heaviness. The finish is composed and persistent, returning to green fruit, citrus and fine mineral notes with the clarity and tension that define a carefully handled Meursault.
