AboutDomaine Jean Ginglinger

Domaine Jean Ginglinger belongs to a Pfaffenheim family whose agricultural roots in the village reach 1610 and whose estate became fully devoted to wine in 1962. Jean-François Ginglinger now works the roughly six-hectare estate, whose Pfaffenheim vineyards are rich in limestone.

The family began converting to organic farming in 1998, completed that transition in 2001 and works the vines according to biodynamic principles. Harvesting is manual, native yeasts begin fermentation, and the wines are raised on fine lees with very little sulphur used only when needed.
