AboutJane Eyre

Jane Eyre first worked in Burgundy in 1998, settled there in 2004 and launched her own wine project in 2011. Her training included winemaking studies in Australia and harvests in Australia, New Zealand, Germany and the Côte de Beaune.

She selects grapes from growers and makes the wines herself. Her Burgundy Pinot Noir comes from places including Gevrey-Chambertin, Volnay, Côte de Nuits-Villages and Savigny-lès-Beaune.

Jane Eyre 2021 Côte de Nuits-Villages

French Red
$114.99
Redcurrant and raspberry fruit are joined by cocoa powder, tea and spice. The texture is fine and light. The wine used considerably less whole-bunch fruit than earlier vintages, and its volume was forty percent of previous vintages. Fresh and savoury notes are present, with fruit in the background. It was bottled at the end of August. Pinot Noir is the sole grape.

Jane Eyre 2017 Savigny-lès-Beaune Premier Cru Pinot Noir 1.5 L

French Wine
$174.99
Fresh red berries lead with lifted floral detail and a quietly savoury edge. The palate is open and juicy, favouring clarity and movement over heavy concentration. Bright acidity gives the fruit energy, while fine tannins keep the shape precise and composed. Subtle earthy complexity develops through the middle. The finish is persistent and detailed, lingering on red fruit, florals and gentle savoury notes.

Jane Eyre 2020 Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Vergelesses

French Red
$141.99
Bright ruby in colour, opening with pure violet, fresh red cherry and a quiet touch of forest floor. The palate is graceful and mid-weight, with supple tannins, lively tension and subtle whole-bunch spice. Silky texture and poised acidity keep the fruit precise before a clean, persistent finish of violet and fine mineral detail.
