Highland Queen

Rich malt and subtle sweet sherry lead the nose, with vanilla, citrus, hazelnut and toffee apple adding detail. The palate is rounded and expressive, moving through sultana, raisin and cinnamon into blood orange, fennel and a light sherbet brightness. Cracked black pepper brings definition before coffee and liquorice appear toward the close. The finish is soft and long, with delicate spice lingering over a smooth, velvety texture and a final trace of sherried fruit.
