AboutHighland Park Distillery
Highland Park’s distillery in Kirkwall, on Orkney, dates to 1798. Part of its barley is malted and turned by hand on site, then dried over heathered peat from Hobbister Moor. The whisky matures in European- and American-oak casks that are air-dried and seasoned with sherry before filling.
Highland Park Valknut Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Scottish Whisky
Toasted vanilla, cracked black pepper and warm peat smoke lead the nose, joined by cloves, aniseed and a touch of sandalwood. The palate is structured and gently oily, with toasted barley, fennel seed and cinnamon set against dark fruit and seasoned oak. Predominantly sherry-seasoned American oak casks bring sweetness and depth, while a higher proportion of local peated malt gives the finish a firmer smoky line, lifted by orange peel, gingerbread and nutmeg.

Rich fruit and caramelized sweetness open the nose, followed by baked cherry, orange zest and salted honeycomb. Dark chocolate and aromatic heather-peat smoke bring depth across the palate without overwhelming the whisky’s balance. A high proportion of first-fill, sherry-seasoned European oak contributes concentrated fruit and spice, rounded by American oak and refill casks. The finish is lingering, sweetly spiced and lightly nutty.
Highland Park Saint Magnus 12 Year Old Edition Two Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Scottish Whisky
Richly sherried yet lively, with raisins, apple crumble and vanilla joined by cigar leaf, cinnamon and sweet peat. The palate brings black pepper and a stronger wave of smoke through the fruit, while polished oak gives the texture a firm frame. Warm spice and baked apple return on the finish, lingering with peat, sherry richness and a dry, gently savoury edge.
Highland Park Trillium 12 Year Old Single Cask #1792 Scotch Whisky
Scottish Whisky
Toffee and candied fruit lead a concentrated aroma, joined by crystallized ginger, honey and a quiet brandy warmth. The palate is intense, carrying Christmas cake, baking spice, plum and raisin through a rich but controlled texture. Sweetness and cask depth remain well balanced. The finish is notably long, easing away with dried fruit, toffee, spice and honey.
