AboutH. P. Bulmer

H.P. Bulmer introduced Strongbow in Britain in 1960, naming it after the medieval knight Richard de Clare, known as Strongbow. Its Herefordshire cider makers blend bittersweet apples grown and pressed in the surrounding area. For Strongbow, 90 percent of the cider apples are grown within forty miles of the mill, with some grower relationships spanning four generations.

British Cider
$4.49

Bittersweet cider apples give this English original a light, refreshingly dry profile, balanced by sweet golden-apple aroma, gentle tartness and a hint of cinnamon. Lively carbonation keeps the palate brisk, while a touch of tannin adds shape before the crisp finish. Serve well chilled or over ice with pork pies, mature cheddar, savoury snacks or grilled sausages.

A classic English cider built around bittersweet apples grown and pressed in Herefordshire.
