AboutGravner

The Gravner family established its farm in Oslavia in 1901, beginning with a house, two and a half hectares and a mix of vines, fruit and livestock. Joško Gravner took over in 1973, initially adopting modern cellar methods. After severe hail damage in 1996, he turned towards longer skin contact during winemaking.

In 2001 he began working with buried Georgian clay amphorae for fermentation. The vineyards focus on Ribolla Gialla and Pignolo in Oslavia and neighbouring Slovenia.
