AboutGarofoli
Garofoli traces its roots to 1871, when Antonio Garofoli began serving and selling local wine from a tavern on the pilgrimage route to Loreto. His son Gioacchino formalized the business in 1901, and the fifth generation now works alongside the fourth.
Vineyards and long-standing grower relationships stretch across the classic zones of Castelli di Jesi and the Adriatic hills, with Verdicchio, Montepulciano and Sangiovese shaping much of the range.
Garofoli 2024 Serra del Conte Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico
Tropical melon, candied lime and white blossoms open with a quiet touch of sweet spice. Soft yet energetic, the palate combines white stone fruit, mineral definition and vibrant acidity. A tart lemon note closes the clean, medium-length finish, keeping the wine fresh and composed. Serve with seafood, risotto, roast vegetables or young pecorino.
Garofoli 2024 Farnio Rosso Piceno
A smooth Rosso Piceno with lively red cherry and darker plum fruit, followed by dried herbs and a touch of spice. The palate is medium-bodied and approachable, combining fresh acidity with rounded tannins and a clean, fruit-led finish. It is versatile at the table, particularly with mushroom pizza, tomato-based pasta, roast pork or a board of cured meats.
