AboutFlor de Caña

Flor de Caña traces its rum-making history to 1890, when Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa established a sugar estate near Chichigalpa, beneath Nicaragua’s San Cristóbal volcano. The Pellas family remains at the helm more than a century later, with stewardship now extending through five generations. Bourbon-barrel ageing is central to the rum range.

Flor de Caña 4 Extra Seco White Rum

Nicaraguan Rum
$29.99

Light and dry, with gentle butterscotch, banana and orange peel set against a clean, grassy edge. Subtle vanilla and almond soften the palate, while mint, dry tobacco and restrained oak spice add more structure than its clear appearance suggests. The finish stays crisp, lightly warming and refreshingly unsweet. An excellent choice for a classic Daiquiri, it also works neatly in a Mojito or any drink that calls for a dry, characterful white rum.
