Field House Brewing in Abbotsford and Town Brewery in Whitby joined forces for 1019 Hazy Double IPA. Town opened in 2017, building a small-team taproom around community events and charitable partnerships, with modern pale ales and IPAs at the heart of its range.
For their double IPA, the brewers paired resinous Citra hop extract with a generous dry hop of HBC 1019, bringing distinct fuzzy-peach notes.

Bold and hazy, with concentrated hop character built around resin, fuzzy peach and bright citrus. Citra hop extract brings a firm, aromatic core, while a substantial HBC 1019 dry hop adds a distinctive soft-peach note and further fruit intensity. The palate is full and expressive, but the fruit and resin remain clearly defined rather than muddled. Serve well chilled with spicy fried chicken, grilled pork, sharp cheddar or smoky vegetable tacos.
