Fattoria Le Pupille

Elisabetta Geppetti began developing Fattoria Le Pupille in the 1980s in the Tuscan Maremma around the Morellino di Scansano area. She built the estate’s modern identity through local Sangiovese-based wines and later projects that explored additional varieties and vineyard sites. Her children Clara and Ettore now work alongside her in the estate’s current family team.

The estate’s holdings extend across separate parts of Maremma, so each wine’s appellation and vineyard source remain important distinctions. Saffredi first appeared in 1987 and remains a distinct wine within the broader range. Fattoria Le Pupille remains centred on Elisabetta Geppetti’s Maremma estate, with the next generation now working alongside her.
