AboutEnRoute
EnRoute grew from a search for Pinot Noir country that led Far Niente’s team to an old apple orchard in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley. The vineyard project began in 2005, and the first bottling was released in 2007. Pinot Noir remains the focus, alongside Chardonnay.
Fruit comes from four sustainably farmed estate vineyards and selected growers. The winemaking team aims for ripeness without heaviness, using minimal intervention in the cellar.
EnRoute 2018 Les Pommiers Pinot Noir
American Red
Red fruit, floral lift and subtle spice open over a richly textured yet poised palate. Bright acidity and silky tannins carry the wine into a long, balanced finish. This Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is shaped from selected vineyard blocks to favour depth and finesse; pair it with duck, salmon or wild mushrooms.
