El Enemigo 2018 Malbec Mendoza
A concentrated Malbec built around black plum, blackberry and black cherry, with violet, graphite and wild-herb detail bringing a savoury edge. A small portion of Cabernet Franc adds lift and structure. The palate is medium to full-bodied, dense yet fresh, with chalky tannins, finely judged oak and a persistent mineral finish. Decanting will let the darker fruit and aromatic detail open fully.
El Enemigo 2022 Chardonnay
Salted lemon, sliced apple and a stony, seashell-like mineral note open with a discreet touch of oak spice. The palate is full-bodied yet tense, bringing richness into focus through bright acidity and a lightly saline texture. Toasty and subtly honeyed details add complexity without softening the line. Long, dry and refreshing, it suits roast poultry, richer seafood or mushroom dishes.
