Edradour was founded near Pitlochry in 1825 as a cooperative of local farmers after changes to excise law made licensed Highland distilling more practical. Its traditional equipment includes an open cast-iron mash tun, Oregon pine fermentation vats and small copper stills, with water from the Edradour Burn cooling the condensers.
Single malt is distilled, matured and bottled on site, with sherry wood shaping much of the classic range. The distillery also explores Sauternes, Chardonnay and Bordeaux casks in its wine-cask releases.

Dried fruit and toasted almonds open the nose, joined by orange peel, vanilla and a gentle Oloroso richness. The palate is full and softly textured, bringing honeyed orchard fruit together with raisins, caramel, marzipan and measured baking spice. Nutty sherry-cask depth gives the malt weight while a fresher apple note keeps it composed. The finish is warming and persistent, carrying toffee, nuts, dried fruit and dark oak. Serve neat or with a small splash of water.

Manuka honey, dried fig and date lead a sweet, creamy nose, with soft sherry and light oak underneath. The palate is full and richly textured, layering berry fruit, caramel and toasted almond over honey and buttered granary toast. Oloroso sherry-cask maturation gives the whisky its dense fruit and nutty depth while the malt retains a rustic warmth. The finish turns drier and spicier, with cocoa, oak and lingering dark fruit bringing structure to the sweetness. Serve neat or add a small measure of water.

Buttery sweetness opens with sticky toffee pudding, dates and a light twist of pepper. The palate is rich and syrupy, carrying raisin and juicy grape notes through a rounded, unctuous texture. Toffee deepens the sweetness while mango brings a brighter fruit lift. The finish is warming and persistent, leaving dried fruit, caramel, soft spice and sweet wine richness.
