AboutDrappier

The Drappier family’s roots in Urville reach back to the seventeenth century; its Champagne house was established in 1808. Three generations work together today, with Pinot Noir at the centre of the house’s wines and vineyards on the Kimmeridgian limestone of the Côte des Bar.

Part of the vineyard is farmed organically, alongside work to support biodiversity and reduce reliance on machinery. The cellar uses gravity handling, limits sulphur and avoids animal-derived processing aids. The house uses solar power as part of its environmental work.

Drappier Grande Sendrée Rosé 2018 Champagne

French Wine
$329.99
Strawberry and pomegranate open the nose, joined by violet, red fruit and fresh orange. A light toasted note adds depth without dulling the fruit. The palate is round and supple at first, then draws into a taut, energetic line supported by clear acidity. Silky texture and mineral tension keep the richness controlled, while citrus and red berries carry through a long, fresh and quietly powerful finish.

Drappier Carte d’Or Brut NV Champagne

French Sparkling
$97.99
Quince, white peach and red berries open this Pinot Noir-led Champagne, with a light touch of spice beneath the fruit. The palate is broad and vinous yet kept lively by fine bubbles and fresh acidity. Serve well chilled as an aperitif or with roast poultry, salmon or mushroom dishes.

Drappier NV Brut Nature Zero Dosage Champagne

French Sparkling
$114.99
Freshly pressed black grape, yellow plum and vineyard peach lead, joined by red fruit, citrus and lemongrass. The palate is dry, upright and pure, with a lively mousse, taut mineral texture and abundant freshness. Pink grapefruit and crushed rock sharpen the finish, while the ripe fruit keeps this zero-dosage style generous rather than austere.
