AboutDomaine Simha

Nav Singh and Louise Radman founded Domaine Simha in Tasmania’s Derwent Valley in 2012, making wine in very small batches. Singh trained in viticulture and oenology and worked in French cellars, while Radman brought experience in wine and restaurants. Simha means lion in Sanskrit.

The couple sources grapes from selected parcels in the Upper Derwent, Coal River and Huon valleys. Harvesting is by hand, and fermentations use wild yeasts. The use of whole bunches and the choice of clay, ceramic or seasoned wooden vessels vary from wine to wine. Basket pressing is followed by bottling without fining or filtration.

Domaine Simha Paysan Fleur Sauvage Tasmania

Australian White
$54.99

Fresh flowers and waxy yuzu open an aromatic, amber-hued white. Extended skin contact brings a savoury, lightly grippy texture, while bright citrus and a fine line of acidity keep the palate energetic. Its combination of floral lift, gentle tannin and earthy depth makes it a versatile choice for roast poultry, mushrooms or spiced vegetables.

Domaine Simha Paysan 2020 Eh Bien! Pinot Noir Tasmania
