Domaine Sébastien Magnien
AboutDomaine Sébastien Magnien
A fourth-generation winegrower, Sébastien Magnien established the present domaine in 2004 with his mother, Brigitte. His route home included formal studies in viticulture and oenology and practical experience in Burgundy and California. From Meursault, the domaine tends Côte de Beaune sites and higher vineyards in the Hautes-Côtes.
Vineyards are ploughed, and the estate avoids chemical herbicides and insecticides. Grapes are picked and sorted by hand, with winemaking and ageing adapted to each site and vintage.
Domaine Sébastien Magnien 2013 Pommard Les Perrières
French Red
Black fruit, ripe character and a light toasted note lead the profile. The palate is generous and refined, with spice adding a clear savoury element. Pinot Noir and Pommard provide the red-Burgundy context. Ripe fruit, toast and spice come together around a generous palate and refined texture, forming the principal character of this mature cuvée.
