AboutDomaine Roger Champault
The Champault family has grown vines at Champtin, south of Sancerre, for generations. Claude and Laurent succeeded their father Roger in 1996 and now farm roughly twenty hectares across Sancerre and Menetou-Salon. The domaine remains an independent family operation, centred on Sauvignon for its whites and Pinot Noir for its reds. Careful sorting and temperature-controlled tanks are central to the cellar work.
Domaine Roger Champault 2024 Menetou-Salon Blanc
French White
Bright, lifted aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest and white flowers meet a subtle herbal edge and wet-stone minerality. The palate is crisp and linear, driven by zesty citrus and green orchard fruit, with chalky texture and a saline snap. Clean, refreshing tension carries the finish. Ideal with oysters, goat cheese or simply as an aperitif.

French White
Juicy tropical fruit opens into a full, rounded palate shaped by bright freshness rather than weight. Gentle barrel texture and lees work bring savoury depth, while a fine hazelnut note gathers on the finish. The balance of ripe fruit, discreet richness and mineral poise suits roast chicken, grilled fish or creamy goat cheese.
