AboutDomaine Labbé
Domaine Labbé’s family story at the foot of Mont Granier begins with Élise and Léon’s purchase of a mixed farm in 1935. Dairy cattle, trout and field crops gradually gave way to wine; by the 1980s, the family’s roughly ten hectares were devoted to Vin de Savoie, centred on Abymes. Cousins Alexandra and Jérôme Labbé succeeded their fathers in 2004.
They have chosen to diversify their vineyard parcels and grape varieties rather than pursue expansion. Grass cover and reduced chemical use have shaped vineyard work since the 1990s.

Lemon, green apple and white pear appear in a pale wine with faint green highlights. The profile is dry and lively, with floral fruit, tangy chalky minerals and a stony finish. Jacquère comes from vines more than thirty-five years old on rocky clay-limestone soils. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled tanks and foudres. Ageing also takes place in tank.
