AboutDomaine Heresztyn-Mazzini
Florence Heresztyn and Simon Mazzini lead a six-hectare domaine from Gevrey-Chambertin, bringing together her Burgundy family roots and his Champagne background. Most of the vineyards lie in Gevrey, with additional parcels in Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. Pinot Noir makes up most of the range, which includes village and premier-cru wines from Gevrey-Chambertin.
Organic and biodynamic principles guide the vineyard work, with attention to vine health and soil life. Since 2019, cereals, fava beans and cruciferous plants have been sown between the rows to support soil health.

Ripe fruit and plum open the aroma, joined by spice, pepper and a light toasted note. The palate is fresh and fruit-driven, with red fruit, gooseberry and blueberry set against further spice. The structure is firm enough to carry the fruit while preserving its freshness. The finish continues with berry, pepper and spice, following the exact-vintage merchant description closely.
