AboutDomaine Georges Glantenay

Domaine Georges Glantenay descends from a line of Volnay winegrowers dating to the seventeenth century and took its present form when Pierre Glantenay’s estate was divided in 1893. Brother and sister Guillaume and Sarah Glantenay represent the current generation, continuing the family property from its base in Volnay. The vineyard holdings extend through Volnay, Pommard, Monthélie, Meursault and Chambolle-Musigny.

Harvesting is manual, with grapes selected once in the vineyard and again on arrival at the cellar. Vinification is temperature-controlled, followed by ten to eighteen months of ageing in French oak.
