AboutDomaine Ferret
Domaine Ferret was founded at Fuissé in 1840. Jeanne Ferret developed her own classification of the estate’s vineyard parcels and was an early advocate of bottling at the domaine. Her daughter Colette continued that work, paying particular attention to the wines’ ageing.
Maison Louis Jadot acquired the property in 2008, and Clément Robinet has directed the domaine and its winemaking since 2023. The vineyards are certified organic, with hand harvesting across a patchwork of limestone, marl and clay soils.
Domaine Ferret 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé
Citrus and fresh almond lead a polished, mineral Chardonnay, with ripe orchard fruit and a subtle floral lift adding breadth. The palate is rounded and generous, yet limestone-derived saltiness and a fine granitic line keep it poised. Supple through the middle and clean on the finish, it pairs naturally with roast chicken, shellfish or creamy cheeses.
