Domaine de l'Aigle

Domaine de l’Aigle lies beneath a limestone cliff at Roquetaillade, in the Pyrenean foothills near Limoux. It takes its name from the Bonelli’s eagles nesting above the vineyard.

Gérard Bertrand acquired the estate in 2007, developing its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines and later adding Gewürztraminer. The vineyards are farmed biodynamically, and the steep slopes are harvested by hand.
