Domaine Buronfosse

Chardonnay comes from a 0.3-hectare vineyard on a limestone plateau at the base of Rotalier Mountain in Jura. The vines grow in a cool mountain setting. Maturation lasts about nine months in neutral barrels. The estate’s white wines are kept topped up rather than aged oxidatively, and the growers favour a fresh style. The property covers four hectares in Rotalier.
