AboutDlúhé Grefty
Jaroslav Tesařík planted his first vineyard in Mutěnice in 2008 and bottled his first wine in 2013. He and his wife began selling their wines with the 2015 vintage. Dlúhé Grefty means roughly “long rows” in the local Moravian dialect.
The winery farms six certified-organic hectares across seventeen small parcels on Mutěnice’s slopes, where loess, clay and sand vary from site to site. Harvest is by hand, with brief skin contact tailored to the grape variety and vintage. Large oak barrels and little or no added sulphur are used according to the wine.

The wine comes from Mutěnice in the Czech Republic. The family farms one and a half hectares of organic vines across eight small plots of clay and loess. Relatives help in the vineyard and cellar, while the children inspire the label artwork. The plantings include several central European varieties, and every bottle is closed under crown cap.
