AboutDistrict 9 Distilling Company
District 9 Distilling Company makes Saigon Baigur gin in Ho Chi Minh City, using copper pot stills imported from Europe. The gin’s recipe took shape through a search for botanicals across Vietnam, from the northern highlands to the Mekong Delta, inspired by the country’s food culture. Its sixteen botanicals—twelve local and four classic gin ingredients—include Buddha’s hand, lotus flower, Saigon cinnamon, Phu Quoc pepper, lemongrass and bird’s-eye chilli.
Saigon Baigur Premium Dry Gin
Vietnamese Gin
Fresh citrus and aromatic spice lead a bright, distinctive profile, with Buddha's hand and vapour-infused lotus flower giving the nose lift and definition. The palate combines classic juniper and coriander with lemongrass, lime peel, peppercorn, black cardamom and a measured touch of chilli. Copper-pot distillation keeps the texture clear and composed while the local botanicals bring a vivid Vietnamese character. The finish is dry, fragrant and gently warming. Serve with tonic and a simple citrus garnish.
