AboutDegani
The Degani family was making wine in Valpolicella by the early twentieth century; the winery began selling under its own name in 1970. The family oversees work from harvest and grape drying through winemaking, maturation and bottling. Its principal red grapes include Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone. For Amarone, grapes are dried before fermentation and the wine is given extended cellar maturation.
