Intense ruby in colour, with cherry, raspberry and delicate floral notes opening the bouquet. The palate is dry and full, with bright acidity giving the fruit definition and a firm, complete structure carrying the finish. Several months on lees in barrel add measured texture without obscuring freshness. Serve with salami, braised pork, hearty stews or firm aged cheeses.
