Château d’Aydie, owned by the Laplace family, is widely recognized as a top producer of both Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic Bihl. Frédéric Laplace, who inherited the family business – which dates back to 1759 – took charge of the estate in the 1920s becoming a pioneer winemaker of the region.
