The label of VASO Cellars depicts a Korean moon jar, a rounded porcelain vessel. Winemaker Maura Johnson leads the Napa Valley winery, drawing on experience in Germany, New Zealand, Australia and Napa. She joined sister winery DANA Estates in 2018 before taking the lead at VASO.
VASO sources fruit from sustainably farmed vineyards and takes a restrained approach to new oak, with selection and blending central to the winemaking.

American Red
Redcurrant and plum lead with sage, loam, tobacco box and warm spice. The palate opens on Bing cherry and dried herbs, then broadens through supple hillside tannins and a structured mid-palate. Ripe strawberry, forest floor and light mineral detail linger, giving the rich fruit a composed, savoury and persistent finish.
