Asian pear, nutmeg, caramel, orange zest and roasted almond appear with popcorn, wet stone and ripe fruit. Whole clusters from four vineyard blocks were pressed separately, then fermented in stainless steel, concrete tulips and new French oak puncheons. After nine months on gross lees, the final blend was bottled without fining. The texture is rich and complex, and alcohol is 13.5 percent.
