AboutConti Costanti

The Costanti family has roots in Montalcino dating back to the sixteenth century. In 1870, Tito Costanti presented a wine from the 1865 harvest under the Brunello name. Andrea Costanti took charge of the estate at Colle al Matrichese in 1983. Some of its Sangiovese vineyards lie above 400 metres, with pronounced differences between daytime and night-time temperatures.

Conti Costanti 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Italian Red
$211.99
Wild red berries lead with chestnut, sweet earth, anise and a touch of orange. The palate is sculpted and stately, combining firm structure with vivid acidity and a gracious, controlled flow. Savoury and earthy details bring depth without obscuring the fruit. The finish is long and resonant, returning to red berries, spice and a refined mineral tension.
