AboutCode Wines

Shay and Harlee Code built their Okanagan Falls winery as a return to farming, drawing on a family history that runs from Ireland to prairie homesteads and Shay’s childhood on a Saskatchewan farm. They bought the Peachcliff site in 2016 and planted their first vines the following year. After making their first three vintages with Dylan and Pénélope Roche on the Naramata Bench, the Codes brought production home to their new winery for the 2022 vintage.

The family tends 10,000 vines by hand, farming organically on the rugged site. Four Pinot Noir clones are grown and often bottled separately, offering a chance to compare wines from different parts of the same small vineyard.
