Clos Du Mont Olivet

Clos du Mont-Olivet is a Sabon family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape whose modern domaine was established in the early twentieth century. The family has worked through several generations, with vineyard holdings extending across Châteauneuf-du-Pape and neighbouring southern Rhône appellations. Grenache is central to the estate’s red wines, supported by the other traditional grapes and by parcels on varied local soils.

Thierry, Céline and David Sabon represent the current family generation, separating present responsibilities from the domaine’s earlier founders. Winemaking decisions differ among cuvées and vintages, so the producer history is not reduced to one fermentation or ageing recipe. The domaine’s current wines continue the Sabon family’s work across Châteauneuf-du-Pape and neighbouring southern Rhône appellations.
