AboutCitra

Citra was formed in 1973 and today brings together eight winegrowers’ cooperatives across the province of Chieti. Around 3,000 winegrowing families work roughly 6,000 hectares, from the Adriatic towards the foothills of the Majella and Gran Sasso. The name comes from Abruzzo Citra, the historic district south of the Pescara River. The range includes wines from Abruzzo’s native grapes and international varieties.

Fresh pear and lemon zest lead a light, crisp palate built for refreshment. The fruit is clean and direct, with dry acidity giving it shape and keeping the finish brisk.
