Cirelli
Francesco Cirelli Vino Bianco
Italian White
Organically farmed fruit comes from clay-and-limestone soils. After hand harvesting in small crates during the third week of September, the grapes are destemmed and placed in tank for a twenty-four-hour maceration. The skins are then separated from the juice and pressed gently. The dry white is vinified in stainless steel, rests there for approximately four months and is bottled at twelve percent alcohol.
Cirelli Orange Abruzzo NV
Italian White
Pale orange in colour, the wine offers nectarine marmalade, orange peel, neroli, white peach, raw almond and linseed. Crisp acidity, fine tannins and a refreshing citrus finish shape the palate. The Trebbiano Abruzzese comes from clay and limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed, then spend about thirty days on their skins in stainless steel. The wine is bottled unfiltered after roughly four months on fine lees.
Cirelli Frizzante Bianco
Italian Sparkling
White fruit, citrus, melon and orange peel appear with white flowers, almonds and a saline note. The palate is light and delicate, with dominant acidity and no oak character. Trebbiano undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and sulphite additions are minimal. The wine is organically produced, naturally made and contains less than 1.2 grams of residual sugar per litre.
Cirelli La Collina Biologica Vino Bianco 3 L
Italian White
Fresh and lively, this organic white has a rustic, salty and mineral profile. The grapes come from estate vineyards near Atri and grow on clay-limestone soils. They are harvested by hand, destemmed and given twenty-four hours of skin contact in stainless steel before gentle pressing. The wine then remains in stainless steel for about four months before bottling.
Cirelli NV Vino da Tavola Rosso
Italian Red
Red cherry, raspberry and plum set a generous, immediately appealing tone, with oregano and other herbal notes adding a savoury edge. The palate is juicy and medium-bodied, but a chewy texture and firm tannic grip keep the fruit from feeling simple. Fresh, energetic and food-friendly, it suits tomato-based pasta, grilled sausages, roast vegetables or hard cheese.
