Château Nakad
AboutChâteau Nakad
Château Nakad traces its cellar history to 1923, when Joseph Nakad began making wine in Jdita near Chtaura in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. Successive generations of the Nakad family have continued his work. The vineyards grow on limestone-rich clay in the elevated, dry Bekaa plain. The cellar also makes arak, Lebanon’s traditional grape spirit.

Lebanese Red
Mature and supple, with ripe red berries, dried cherry and plum joined by black pepper, cedar and a gentle savoury note. The palate is dry and smooth, its softened tannins giving shape without heaviness. A composed, lightly spiced finish makes this an easy match for grilled lamb, roast vegetables or warmly spiced meat dishes.
